Horner, who is married to former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, has been in charge of Red Bull’s F1 team since its formation in 2005 and he has led them to seven Drivers’ Championships and six Constructors’ Championships during his time at the helm.

Red Bull are currently the best team in Formula 1, having won both available titles during the 2023 season after winning 21 of the 22 races during the year. Dutch driver Max Verstappen was triumphant on 19 occasions in the most dominant campaign in F1 history.

However, while Horner is known for his work in F1, he is also a massive football fan.

Which football team does Red Bull Racing’s Christian Horner support?

Horner is a Coventry City fan.

The Sky Blues are currently in the Championship after losing the play-off final to Luton Town last season. Horner even correctly predicted the match would go to penalties ahead of the Monaco GP, but his side were unfortunately beaten in the shootout.

As per Football League World, Horner once compared trying to establish Red Bull Racing as one of the best F1 teams in the paddock with Coventry’s attempt to return to the Premier League.

He said: “Being a Coventry City football fan might have played a part as they fought for years to challenge the bigger teams in the English top flight.”

Journalist Jenna Fryer has claimed that WhatsApp messages allegedly sent by Horner have been emailed to journalists, team bosses and Formula 1 bosses by an anonymous account.

Horner has vehemently denied these allegations.
