Musiala bomb! Romano drops MONSTER update on Chelsea target
Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Bayern Munich are preparing a monster contract offer for Jamal Musiala.
The German wonderkid is one of the most in-demand players in the world. Out of contract in 2026, talks over a new deal had been stalling for almost a year after some significant upheaval at Bayern towards the end of last season.
This has, naturally, attracted the interest of high-profile suitors. Especially now that Musiala is in spectacular form again, speculation surrounding his future has been rampant. Man City view the 21-year-old as the ideal successor to potentially Saudi-bound Kevin de Bruyne.

Liverpool, meanwhile, greatly admire the attacking midfielder, though their chances of landing him were recently played down. Real Madrid have always been attentive to the situation, while Chelsea, the youngster's former youth club, are also said to be keeping tabs on his contract problem.
Now, Fabrizio Romano has provided a major update on Bayern's intentions to tie Musiala down long-term.
Bayern prepare huge offer
The Italian transfer expert addressed the matter on his Here We Go podcast, saying: "Bayern are preparing their new contract proposal for Jamal Musiala and it is going to be one of the priorities for Christoph Freund, for Max Eberl and all the people at the club."
"They know that they can't miss on this one. Musiala's contract, the current one, expires in summer 2026, so there are still two years left on his contract, but Bayern want to resolve this topic as soon as possible. This is going to be a very important contract proposal in terms of salary, in terms of bonus linked to potential trophy wins and important targets for the player."

"So Bayern are preparing internally their new contract proposal for Musiala and it will be a really important one to keep the player at the club and to make Musiala, next to players like Mathys Tel, one of the faces of the present but also of the future project at Bayern. So Bayern will be very strong on this one, will go with a very important contract proposal and then it's going to be up to Musiala."
