EXCLUSIVE: Wolves to snub £40m Man Utd Joao Gomes move
Taking to X, the Athletic correspondent reports: “Real Madrid are following him, but senior sources at the club insist that they have yet to decide if they’re going to make any move this summer.
“While the season ends, Madrid want to see how the renewals of Nacho Fernandez and Lucas Vazquez are resolved and how the injured Eder Militao and David Alaba return to activity. Depending on these circumstances, they will decide to act in the market.
“In the player's entourage they know that Madrid like him a lot for a long time, but they are also aware of the interest of other teams such as Bayern Munich, Manchester U or PSG.
CONFIRMED: Man Utd list Onana, Branthwaite, and Olise as major summer targets
“Yoro now hopes to leave the Ligue 1 side in the summer - with just one year left on his contract. The price is yet to be determined, but that could make the transfer cheaper. Lille have tried to renew him on several occasions becoming very persistent and persuasive, but have not succeeded.
“Despite reports that Jorge Mendes' relationship with Real Madrid could complicate the operation, Leny Yoro's entourage and Real Madrid senior sources deny it categorically.
“Moreover, in recent months Jorge Mendes has been in contact with Real Madrid to discuss various issues, including the future of Andriy Lunin or that of the promising canterano Paulo Iago.”

Yoro’s world-class ability
Yoro has enjoyed an exceptional season with Lille, where he has become a first-team regular alongside Alexsandro in the centre of defence.
Data analytics experts SciSports rate Yoro as the second-best teenage centre-back in the world behind only Cristhian Mosquera of Valencia, who is 15 months older.
The Lille player, though, has a higher ceiling according to the firm, which suggests Yoro will become one of the best defenders in the world one day.
