Robertson heaps praise on Liverpool's Alexander-Arnold replacement
Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson has heaped praise on Conor Bradley following the Northern Irishman’s performance against Chelsea in January.
Bradley, 20, spent last season on loan at League One side Bolton Wanderers, but he returned to Anfield in 2023 and he’s been rewarded with significant game time by Jurgen Klopp.
Trent Alexander-Arnold’s injury problems have allowed Bradley to rack up 18 senior appearances this season and one stands out to Robertson.

Against Chelsea, Bradley dominated his flank and scored a brilliant goal to help Liverpool on their way to a commanding 4-1 victory.
When asked about his Liverpool team-mate by Sky Sports, Robertson admitted: “The Chelsea at home performance is right up there with one of the best full-back performances I’ve seen.
“Not many people probably knew about him before it but that was a special performance and that’s why after that, what I was saying to him is ‘you need to be consistent now.’
“He has shown he has got the ability, he has shown he has got the attitude, he has everything to be a top, top full-back but what he needs is to do it week in, week out.”

Trent Alexander-Arnold to leave Liverpool?
Real Madrid are reportedly monitoring Alexander-Arnold as they look to sign a long-term replacement for Daniel Carvajal.
Carvajal has been Los Blancos’ first-choice right-back for a decade and even Achraf Hakimi was unable to dislodge him in the starting XI at the Santiago Bernabeu; however, he is now 32 years old and a contingency plan is needed for when his form drops off.
Chelsea right-back Reece James has previously been linked as a key target for Real Madrid, but the Englishman cannot be relied upon from a fitness perspective and having been named club captain at Stamford Bridge, he is unlikely to leave his boyhood club.
As a result, Real Madrid have moved on from the Blues star and are now targeting a move for Alexander-Arnold, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The transfer expert posted on X (formerly known as Twitter): “Real Madrid are monitoring Trent Alexander-Arnold's contract situation at Liverpool.
“Current deal expires in June '25 with no talks underway as of now. Liverpool have not indicated any desire to sell at this stage.
“There's no indication of the player's views so far.”
So, any potential deal is far from advanced, but it is clear that Real Madrid view Alexander-Arnold as a potential answer to their right-back problem. As a result, Bradley may become an even more important player at Liverpool in the near future.
