Romano ‘SURE’ over Klopp U-turn and makes Liverpool transfer ‘GUARANTEE’
Fabrizio Romano has dropped a couple of important Liverpool transfer news updates, including one on the future of manager Jurgen Klopp.
Klopp has announced that he will stand down from the Anfield club in the summer, leading to speculation over what is next for him.
His agent has repeatedly insisted that the former Borussia Dortmund and Mainz head coach will take a sabbatical of at least a year from the game, but that has not stopped him from being linked with potentially taking charge of Germany in what would be a huge U-turn.

For Romano, this is not a possibility.
“We inevitably keep hearing more speculation about Jurgen Klopp’s future after he leaves Liverpool this summer, with some rumours about the German national team job for 2026,” he wrote for the Daily Briefing.
“The only thing I know for sure right now is that Klopp is not intending to speak to any club or national team now - no chance.
“Germany have Julian Nagelsmann now, a top coach, so their full focus on the Euros and we will see after that. But for sure Klopp won’t negotiate anything now or this summer, no way.”

Loan star’s uncertainty
Romano has also dropped a transfer “guarantee” over the future of promising youngster Fabio Carvalho.
Signed from Fulham in 2022 for nearly €6 million, the 21-year-old has struggled to impose himself at Liverpool but is shining at Hull after a failed loan spell with RB Leipzig earlier this season.
Carvahlo has four goals in 11 appearances for the Championship side club, and these statistics are starting to catch eyes.
Liverpool, meanwhile, are keeping a close eye on the situation.
“I can also guarantee no decision has been made on Fabio Carvalho’s future, and talks have not even started,” he said.
“Hull are super happy with the player since signing him on loan, but I’m sure this is not something you decide now; also Liverpool are still waiting for new director, new manager…so there are too many factors before deciding on the player’s future, it will take time.”
