Man City 'reach full agreement' for surging Brazilian star
Manchester City have secured their first summer signing in the shape of Girona's Brazilian star Savio, according to sources.
City are looking to bolster their squad next summer having been run so close in the race for this season's Premier League title by Liverpool and Arsenal.
Whilst recent seasons might have seen the champions throw money at the situation, they are now looking over their shoulders at Financial Fair Play regulations, and shrewder picks in the transfer market are the order of the day.

And Savio could fit that bill, the 19-year-old Brazilian having enjoyed a breakout season in La Liga, hitting eight goals and seven assists from 28 games in the competition following his loan arrival from Troyes.

City agree deal for Savio
"Man City have agreed a deal to sign Girona star Savio this summer," reports Football Insider's Pete O'Rourke. :"There has been no formal confirmation as of yet but it is believed a full agreement is in place for Savio to join at the end of the season."
While the report doesn't outline a transfer fee, the Brazil U20 winger is valued at €25.4 million by FootballTransfers' in-house algorithm, and it is unlikely that he would cost much more than that figure.

That's because parent club Troyes, and indeed Girona, are both part of the City Group, making a bidding war unlikely to ensue.
Savio is a left winger by trade, meaning his arrival is set to put more pressure on Jack Grealish and Jeremy Doku. The former is the joint-most expensive English player in Premier League history, but could soon find himself third choice.
City have already completed some transfer business this week, with Cardiff City youngster Timeo Whisker joining the club. At 15, he will play for the age group teams initially.
