Man Utd attempt 'IMPOSSIBLE' swoop for Liverpool target Kimmich
Manchester United are interested in Joshua Kimmich, according to a report, but he doesn't want to join them.
The Bayern Munich star has been the subject of heated transfer speculation for months. Out of contract in 2025, there has thus far been little progress on the part of the Bavarians in getting him to renew his deal.
Kimmich is reportedly asking for a pay rise that Bayern are unwilling to grant and the midfielder is a credible candidate to be sold this summer, according to German media. The Bundesliga giants have made it clear that the 29-year-old will either have to extend his stay at the Allianz Arena or be offloaded.

The player, for his part, doesn't necessarily want to leave, but he would be open to making a move at the right conditions. According to a recent Sky Germany report, Kimmich already knows which five clubs he would be willing to join in the summer - and this is bad news for Man Utd.
Man Utd keen, but Kimmich isn't
Spanish outlet Sport, reporting on Barcelona's interest in the versatile midfielder and right-back, claims that the Red Devils have now entered the race to sign Kimmich.
It is claimed that the German has even been made a 'priority' by the Man Utd hierarchy ahead of what is bound to be a huge transfer window at Old Trafford. The problem? Man Utd are not among the clubs Kimmich wants to join.

If the above-mentioned German report is to be believed, the player has explicitly made it clear that he has no intention of joining Man Utd or Chelsea, instead preferring a switch to rivals Liverpool and Man City, with whom he has also been linked, and Premier League leaders Arsenal.
Kimmich would also be open to moving to Barcelona and Real Madrid, though the latter do not appear to hold an interest given that they are stacked in the midfield department, especially in light of the news that compatriot Toni Kroos is set to stay for one more season.
