Liverpool appointing Amorim only 'a matter of time'
Fulham star Joao Palhinha believes that Ruben Amorim will be Liverpool's next head coach.
The Sporting CP boss is among the Reds' top targets to replace Jurgen Klopp at the end of the season after Xabi Alonso announced that he would be staying with Bayer Leverkusen for at least one more year.
Amorim is a sought-after commodity and Liverpool would do well to land the 39-year-old, who has become one of Europe's most exciting up-and-coming coaches in recent years. The tactician won't come cheap, however, with the Reds reportedly having to shell out €15 million to secure his signature.

The man himself recently addressed the fresh speculation surrounding his future, insisting that he is fully focused on his current job with Sporting, but teasing that "we'll soon see what happens."
Some people are already convinced that Amorim is heading to Anfield and his former player Joao Palhinha is one of them.
Amorim hire 'a matter of time'
Speaking to O Jogo, the Fulham midfielder said of his ex-boss: "Ruben is a coach with a lot of quality, one of the best in Portugal. He has done an excellent job since Braga. He has in-depth knowledge of the game and has a close relationship with the players."
"The way he is growing, he won’t stay in Portugal much longer. It will not be for lack of opportunities that he will not leave Portugal. He dreams and aims to win another title with Sporting and then the future will be in his hands."
