Revealed: The Barcelona wonderkid who should play for Real Madrid
Barcelona have been renowned for the ability of La Masia to produce talent of the highest quality, with Lamine Yamal, Pau Cabarsi and Fermin Lopez among the latest players to break into the plans of Xavi in Catalunya.
There is one wonderkid who has rather lost his way in recent months, though, and a move to Real Madrid would be the ideal solution to the funk that he finds himself in.
Ansu Fati has struggled with injury for much of the last three seasons.

The 2021/22 campaign was a virtual washout for the 21-year-old, who struggled with hamstring issues, and while he came back for the following campaign, his form was not at the level that saw him hailed as Lionel Messi’s heir at Camp Nou.
Barcelona shrewdly shipped him to Premier League side Brighton this term. But the injury issues have returned and the latest reports from Spain indicate that he is primed for another loan.

Ansu better off at Real Madrid
Data analytics experts SciSports show that the best move for Ansu’s career would be to Barca’s bitter rivals Real Madrid.
The Career Advice tool of the firm demonstrates that Los Blancos are the best option for the winger based on a range of factors including potential development, playing time, style and formation. Using a unique formula, each team is given a Club Fit score, and in Ansu’s case, it is Carlo Ancelotti’s side who are his optimal destination.
Ansu Fati: Real Madrid vs Barcelona
Club Fit | Development | Playing Time | Style | Formation | |
Real Madrid | 78 | *** | *** | **** | ***** |
Barcelona | 70 | ** | ** | ***** | * |
Real Madrid are given a Club Fit of 78, three clear of Roma and four better than Liverpool, as well as eight more than Barca.
The only area in which the Camp Nou outfit are a better fit for Ansu than their Clasico rivals is in terms of the style they play. In terms of the winger’s development, playing time and formation, Real Madrid are more suited.
Barcelona may wish to loan Ansu out again, but of course he won’t be heading to the Spanish capital next season, even if it is the deal that might suit the rising star best.
