Why sell me? Christian Pulisic outscoring every Chelsea player
Chelsea may now be regretting their decision to sell Christian Pulisic last summer as the United States winger is on fire at AC Milan.
Pulisic’s goal in the 3-1 win over Verona was the fourth game in a row that the American has scored.
The 25-year-old has enjoyed a very productive first season at AC Milan since joining last summer from Chelsea for €22 million.

He now has nine Serie A goals for the season - all of them from open play. Pulisic has 12 goals in all competitions.
The only wide attacker or attacking midfielder in Serie A to have more goals in open play this season is Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
No player at his former club Chelsea has more open play goals this season than Pulisic.

Only Cole Palmer has more goals in total - 11 in Premier League and 14 in all competitions - but five of these were penalties.
Chelsea have endured a disastrous season and are 11th in the Premier League.
One of the biggest reasons for their struggles has been a lack of firepower and goals in attack.
The Blues are the eighth highest scorers in the Premier League, showing that Pulisic’s goals could have come in very handy.
Pulisic at Chelsea
The winger joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund in 2019 for €64m.
He had a successful first season at Stamford Bridge, netting 11 goals in all competitions out of 34 games.
The midfielder even broke the record for the youngster Chelsea player to score a hat-trick, scoring three goals against Burnley in his debut year. But then the American’s form started to drop off - netting just a single goal in his final season for the club.
Chelsea had a mass exodus during last summer’s transfer window, with some 23 players either joining another club on a transfer or leaving after their contract ended.
Pulisic was one of those but Chelsea may now be regretting that decision.
