Liverpool prepare mega salary for Arne Slot
Liverpool have offered prospective manager Arne Slot a massive contract in order to lure him away from Feyenoord, according to reports in the Netherlands.
The 45-year-old boss has been offered a huge deal in order to join the Anfield outfit from the Rotterdam club, although it will represent a significant step down from what incumbent Jurgen Klopp currently earns.
De Telegraaf reports that Slot is set to be offered around €8 million per year before bonuses.

Agent Rafaela Pimenta is currently leading negotiations, with just a few wrinkles to be ironed out before an agreement is struck and the Dutchman takes charge at Anfield.
"Liverpool, together with Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City, is one of the best-paying football clubs in England," the report states, adding that Feyenoord boss Slot's current salary is set to be doubled.
Since signing a contract extension last year, he earns €4-5m with bonuses included.

“The Feyenoord coach will be able to earn around €8m [at Liverpool] and he will be able to increase his salary to an even greater height with every national title or cup that he wins," it is said.
This falls dramatically short of what Klopp earns at Anfield, though after nine years of service to Liverpool, there are few who begrudge the German this type of remuneration.
“Klopp's salary in his last seasons with Liverpool is astronomical: a total of around €17m, partly thanks to bonuses for the top prizes he won with Liverpool.”
Liverpool closing in on their man
Slot to Liverpool appears to be close.
Reports from the Netherlands on Tuesday indicate that Liverpool have already contacted Feyenoord over potential compensation, although the two clubs still appear to be distant in this respect.
The Reds have offered the Eredivisie outfit €9m to pay Slot out of his current deal, with the Rotterdam outfit asking for €15m.
