Arsenal & Liverpool ALERTED as €150m star available for cut-price fee
Shakhtar Donetsk expect to sell Georgiy Sudakov this summer despite his €150 million release clause, according to a report.
The Ukrainian midfielder has become one of Europe's most sought-after midfielders in recent times and is generally regarded as the biggest prospect in Eastern Europe right now. Having starred for club and country, Shakhtar Donetsk handed the 21-year-old a bumper new deal in the winter, which included a release clause worth a whopping €150m.
However, the club know that this is an unrealistic valuation for the player despite his significant potential and it seems that they will not insist on interested parties triggering the clause. Sudakov won't be cheap - Shakhtar sold his good friend Mykhailo Mudryk for a fee potentially rising to €100m - but he won't cost €150m.

According to HITC, the Ukrainian giants are bracing themselves for a summer sale of their star man, with several Premier League clubs keen.
Arsenal, Liverpool alerted
The report mentions that Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City are hot on Sudakov's trail. The interest from the first two is well-established and has been known for some time, with the Reds in particular often touted as the favourites to land him.
Chelsea are also mentioned as a club keen on Sudakov and they, too, have been linked with him in the past. The Mudryk connection is easy to make and indeed the winger previously joked that he is trying to convince his former Shakhtar teammate to head to Stamford Bridge.

Sudakov also has admirers on the continent. It is expected that the youngster will cost in excess of €40m after Shakhtar rejected a January offer in that region from Napoli, but he won't command €150m. Shakhtar fully expect an onslaught of interest in the summer and Sudakov will be one to watch in the upcoming transfer window.
