Gordon Hodgson is third on the list thanks to his tally of 241 strikes in 377 matches. He failed to win a single trophy during his time at Liverpool, but Hodgson was the club’s top goalscorer in seven of his nine seasons on Merseyside and he combined football with playing cricket for Lancashire.
