PSV hatch plan to RIP OFF Liverpool with Salah replacement
PSV appear to be trying to get the most out of a future transfer of Johan Bakayoko.
According to NOS, the Eindhoven club are considering raising the Belgian's value even further by extending his contract. It was previously announced that Borussia Dortmund had inquired about the price tag of Bakayoko, while Liverpool continue to be linked with the 20-year-old winger amid Saudi interest in Mohamed Salah.
A busy transfer summer is expected in Eindhoven, with Bakayoko being seen as the main candidate to leave PSV after this season. Indeed, PSV sporting director Earnie Stewart has revealed that the Eredivisie side have already resigned themselves to losing their wonderkid.

A possible transfer of the 11-time Belgian international should significantly boost the club coffers of the current Dutch league leader, with the Eindhoven team aiming to receive a record sum. To date, their biggest-ever sale was that of Cody Gakpo, who left for Liverpool for at least €50 million in January 2023.
Bakayoko's steep value increase
PSV want to increase Bakayoko's asking price even further. The club chiefs in Eindhoven are considering ripping up, upgrading and extending the current contract of the talented dribbler. If PSV succeed in this, Bakayoko's market value will increase further after an already incredible rise over the past 12 months.
The right winger currently boasts an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €63.2m, making him the most valuable player in the Eredivisie according to the FootballTransfers algorithm. He is also the most valuable Belgian footballer.

Bakayoko rejected a mega transfer to Brentford last summer and is starring in a PSV shirt this season. The lightning-fast left-footer has played 43 games under Peter Bosz for the Eindhoven team to date. He has scored 11 goals and notched 14 assists.
Bakayoko only had to miss the match against Heracles Almelo (2-0 win) due to illness. In addition to this impressive fact, the attacker has only begun three matches on the bench. He was a starter for the other 40 games.
