Only David Moyes can save Erik ten Hag his Man Utd job
Erik ten Hag’s best friend in football right now is David Moyes.
Only the West Ham manager - and former Manchester United boss - can save Ten Hag from getting the sack at the end of the season.
Ten Hag is almost certain to get the chop after a disastrous campaign.
His only hope of saving his job is if United can qualify for the Champions League.

The top four in the Premier League are guaranteed qualification for the Champions League. With seven games remaining, United are 11 points behind Tottenham in fourth.
Fifth place in the Premier League looks increasingly likely to earn the Premier League an extra Champions League place as UEFA will gift the two leagues with the best coefficient for this season with an extra spot. As it stands, Serie A and the Premier League are highly likely to get that extra fifth spot. United, though, are also 11 points behind Aston Villa in fifth, with a game in hand.
But, the Premier League still has a chance of a sixth Champions League spot.

Can Man Utd qualify for Champions League in sixth place?
If West Ham win the Europa League (they are currently in the quarter finals), they will also qualify for the Champions League.
But if the Hammers - managed by Moyes, manage to finish in a Champions League place in the league in addition to winning the Europa League, that will mean that sixth place in the Premier League takes the sixth Champions League spot.
Admittedly, the chances of this happening are very slim. West Ham are currently in seventh place, 12 points behind Tottenham in fourth and the same number of points behind Aston Villa in fifth. They have also played a game more than Tottenham.
So Ten Hag is relying on a David Moyes miracle in order to keep his Manchester United job next season!
