Garnacho NARROWLY avoids Sancho treatment at Man Utd
Alejandro Garnacho has narrowly avoided the Jadon Sancho treatment from Erik ten Hag at Manchester United, according to reports.
Garnacho was subbed off at half-time of Man Utd's 2-2 draw with Bournemouth on Saturday, replaced by Amad Diallo, and soon made his displeasure with Ten Hag's decision clear on social media.
The United Stand YouTuber Mark Goldbridge took to X (formerly Twitter) to question Ten Hag's judgement.

One post said: "Ten Hag subtly blaming Garnacho in the post-match press conference… not a good look throwing a 19 year old under the bus who has actually delivered for you this season. But then again he's clearly scared of upsetting the bigger earners."
The other: "had a poor first half but taking him off at half time and holding him up as the problem is a joke."

Garnacho issue 'dealt with internally'
Crucially, Garnacho 'liked' both posts before quickly deleting them, drawing comparisons with Sancho, who posted on the platform in September that he had been made a "scapegoat" and would not "allow people to say things that [are] completely untrue."

Sancho was duly sent back on loan to former club Borussia Dortmund with no apology forthcoming, but there is little chance of Garnacho returning to formative club Atletico Madrid, with the Press Association confirming that "the matter had been dealt with internally."
Garnacho has emerged as one of United's best players this season, with 10 direct goal-involvements from his 30 Premier League games, 24 of them starts, despite his tender 19 years.
The Madrid-born Argentina international is valued at €33.4 million by FootballTransfers' in-house algorithm, so United would make a massive profit on the €500,000 they paid for him in late 2020 should they decide to cash in.
For now, it looks like the Garnacho has escaped that fate, however.
