Mason Greenwood swap deal: The state of play - Fabrizio Romano
Fabrizio Romano has rubbished reports that Mason Greenwood could join Juventus this summer and says Man Utd’s interest in Gleison Bremer has no connection to the Englishman.
United are likely to make a move for Juventus centre back Bremer this summer and there has been talk that Greenwood could go the other way as part of the deal.
However, Romano says that is very unlikely and that he does not expect Juventus to pursue Greenwood.

What did Romano say?
“I don’t think Juventus will go for Mason Greenwood,” Romano told The United Stand.
“From what I hear, they have different options in those positions. It is not a priority for them.
“At the moment I am not aware of any contact between Juventus and Greenwood.
“Man Utd’s interest in Gleison Bremer is not linked to Greenwood.”

Greenwood to leave Man Utd?
Greenwood is expected to leave Manchester United this summer.
He joined Getafe on loan last summer after Manchester United concluded their investigation into the criminal charges he was facing last year, which have since been dropped.
United announced that Greenwood would look to continue his career away from Old Trafford, having not played a game since January 2022 following his arrest by police.
New Man Utd part-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe revealed a few weeks ago that a decision has still not been made on whether to bring the on-loan Getafe attacker back to United at the end of the season.
Greenwood has impressed for Getafe. He has scored eight goals and got five assists in 28 games in all competitions.
But sentiment among fans and the public in England is still negative towards Greenwood, making it easier for him to continue his career outside of the country.
