That is according to TBR Football, who report that the Gunners want to cash in on the striker and have informed him that he is for sale.

FootballTransfers exclusively reported last week that Arsenal will have showdown talks with Gabriel Jesus regarding his role within the team moving forward.

However, our sources close to the club insist that neither manager Mikel Arteta nor technical director Edu are keen on seeing the striker depart.

We are told that though concerns linger over the player's fitness and availability, the ambition is to see the 27-year-old remain at the Emirates.

But we also understand that Arsenal will not stand in Jesus’ way should he express a desire to leave.

Arsenal value Jesus at €58 million, and TBR Football insist that the Brazilian has been put up for sale having failed to score enough goals at the club.

The Gunners want to use the money to invest in a top striker such as primary target Viktor Gyokeres of Sporting Lisbon.

Gabriel Jesus at Arsenal

Gabriel Jesus joined Arsenal from Manchester City in the summer of 2022 for €52 million, having spent six years at the Etihad.

Jesus impressed massively with his all-round game during his first season at Arsenal, playing an important role in them challenging City for the Premier League title as they finished second.

However, Jesus’ scoring numbers were not up to standard and he managed just 11 goals in 33 games in all competitions. He was also one of the most under-performing players in the Premier League when it came to his Expected Goals (xG) tally versus his actual goals tally.

This season Jesus has seen his form really dip - and his number of goals have dried up further.

He has managed just four Premier League goals and eight goals in all competitions from 34 games.

Jesus has struggled with injuries and has lost his first-team spot at Arsenal to converted attacking midfielder Kai Havertz.
