Tottenham are interested in Callum Hudson-Odoi, according to a report.

The former Chelsea wonderkid has managed to revive his career at Nottingham Forest. Having fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge due to persistent injury problems and following an unimpressive loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen, the Blues sold Hudson-Odoi last summer.

Forest only paid €3.5 million to secure the 23-year-old's services and it proved to be a solid piece of business. With the season now finished, Hudson-Odoi can look back on a record of eight goals and two assists in 35 games across all competitions.

While far from a spectacular return, it is more than €70m Mykhailo Mudryk managed for Chelsea in 2023/24. The Ukrainian netted seven times and notched two assists in 41 fixtures. After just one season at the City Ground, Hudson-Odoi could already be on the move again.

Spurs want CHO

At least that's according to TEAMtalk, which claims that Tottenham are interested in the 23-year-old ahead of the summer transfer window. Ange Postecoglou is set to overhaul Spurs' squad this summer and shape the revamped side in his image.

Hudson-Odoi could come in to potentially replace Timo Werner, whose future is unclear at this point. Having initially impressed, the German had to sit out the final few games of the season due to injury. If Spurs want to make use of their €17m purchase option, they will have to trigger it by June 14.

Forest, it is claimed, want to keep hold of Hudson-Odoi, but they may be forced to sell due to their Profit and Sustainability problems. It is further asserted that Tottenham are far from the only side - in England and abroad - keeping tabs on the former Chelsea starlet.

Hudson-Odoi currently boasts an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €26.8m, with his stocks having risen by more than €5m over the past couple of months. Forest could make a sizeable profit on their measly €3.5m investment.
