Chelsea fans CONVINCED they will sign €22m striker
Chelsea supporters are convinced that Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran is hoping to seal a summer move to Stamford Bridge following his latest activity on social media.
Duran, 20, joined Unai Emery’s side for an initial €16.6 million from Chicago Fire in January 2023 - a fee that could rise to €22m with add-ons - but he has been forced to play a back-up role to Ollie Watkins since his arrival.
The Colombian forward has amassed just 1,131 minutes of action in a Villa shirt, however he has impressed during his limited involvement, notching eight goals for the club - including a brace against Liverpool on Monday night.

Chelsea emerged as shock candidates to sign Duran in the January transfer window, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side reportedly interested in pouncing amid his lack of game time at Villa Park.
The Blues had been linked with a move for Duran during his time in the MLS, but they were beaten to his signature by Villa.
Although Chelsea failed to reach an agreement to sign Duran in January, many of the club’s supporters believe a summer move could be on the cards following his most recent activity on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Jhon Duran to Chelsea?
Duran has sparked rumours of a summer transfer to Chelsea after liking numerous posts relating to the west London club.
Seven of his last 14 liked posts on X are related to Chelsea, including his most recent like (at the time of writing) - which was a post about Christopher Nkunku’s balloon celebration against Brighton & Hove Albion.

As a result, many Chelsea fans believe Duran is hoping to seal a Stamford Bridge switch as the Blues look to sign a new striker this summer.
Napoli superstar Victor Osimhen has been heavily linked with a move in recent months, while RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko is also a target, according to reports.
