Fabrizio Romano transfer news: Man Utd’s Olise hunt, Tuchel latest and Real Madrid ‘signing soon’
Fabrizio Romano has revealed the latest transfer news, including an update of Manchester United’s chase for Michael Olise, the situation of Thomas Tuchel and a deal that will be signed soon at Real Madrid.
Romano has described the situation of Tuchel at Bayern Munich, where it appears the manager is about to complete a remarkable U-turn to remain with the club.
The former Chelsea boss had been seriously linked with a switch to Man Utd in the summer, but it appears he will instead stay with the Bavarians.

“Bayern decided to part ways with Thomas Tuchel. Then they started contacting managers around Europe. And now with Bayern there is a complete possibility to keep Thomas Tuchel for the head coach for next season,” Romano explains on his YouTube channel.
“Why? Because the relationship with some of the big players and Tuchel is very good. They’ve seen how Tuchel reacted to a very complicated situation.
“The situation around Tuchel has to be clarified, so it’s not guaranteed yet that he’s staying, but there are good messages.”
Romano says the only potential sticking points surround how to build the squad for next season and he also states that Tuchel needs to “feel the full support of the board”.

Olise to Man Utd update
If Tuchel will not be moving to Manchester United, there remains a strong possibility that Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise will be.
Romano says the former France U21 winger is “open” to leaving the Selhurst Park outfit in the summer and has outlined the stance of the Red Devils with regards the 22-year-old winger.
“Man Utd remain one of the clubs. We’ve been repeating that for months. For sure he’s a target, for sure he’s on the shortlist and for sure he’s been approved by the scouting market, even before Ineos came to the club,” the football transfer news expert explains.
“He’s really appreciated by all the people at the club.
“They know there will be competition because he’s liked by other clubs, too, including Arsenal and Chelsea. Newcastle also like him. But Man Utd are well informed on the situation.”
FootballTransfers also exclusively revealed that Aston Villa are interested in Olise.

Real Madrid ‘signing soon’
Romano has also confirmed that Real Madrid are poised to keep Lucas Vazquez at the club, with the 32-year-old right-sided player set to sign a contract extension after deciding to remain at the Bernabeu.
“It’s time to sign soon for Lucas Vazquez. He has decided to continue with Real Madrid. They have told Lucas Vazquez that they want him to continue. Now it’s time to meet in the next few days to agree on the terms and details, and then to sign,” Romano says.
Vazquez’s contract at Los Blancos was due to expire at the end of the season.
