Romano provides update on Nunez's Liverpool future after Instagram hint
Darwin Nunez’s recent Instagram activity is not related to a possible Liverpool exit, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Uruguay international has caused a major stir on social media after he deleted all photos relating to Liverpool on his Instagram account.
However, Romano has revealed that Nunez is looking forward to working with Arne Slot and is not pursuing a summer move away.

The transfer expert told CaughtOffside: “A lot of fans are asking about Darwin Nunez deleting all Liverpool-related posts from his Instagram. However, these are private things, so only Darwin can clarify why he did that; for sure it’s not the best moment for him, but I’d never link social media activities with transfer market movements.
“It’s all quiet so far, nothing is happening and for sure Darwin is looking forward to speaking to new coach Arne Slot.”
Nunez’s Instagram profile picture is him in a Liverpool shirt and the Reds are included in his bio, but he has removed all Liverpool related posts and comments have been limited.

Darwin Nunez to stay at Liverpool?
Nunez was left out of Liverpool’s starting XI during their 4-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, with Cody Gakpo preferred through the middle, following a poor run of form in front of goal.
The ex-Benfica forward is without a goal in his last eight appearances and although he has racked up 18 goals in all competitions so far this season, his lack of cutting edge has been labelled as a key reason why Liverpool won’t win the Premier League title.
Nunez has missed 27 big chances in the English top flight this season - with only Erling Haaland (32) missing more. In addition, 12 players have netted more than his 11 league goals in 2023-24.
The 24-year-old joined Liverpool for €85 million from Benfica in 2022 after a stellar final campaign in the Portuguese top flight, but he has been unable to replicate that form since moving to Anfield.
