Man City flop Kalvin Phillips handed Premier League life-line
Everton are looking at a move for Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips, according to reports.
The former England international could be available on a loan deal, having spent half the season on a temporary basis with West Ham.
And now the Toffees have registered an interest, according to Sky Sports.

He was linked with a move back to Leeds but a move looks unlikely after the club failed to defeat Southampton in the Championship Playoff final.
Phillips has made just 31 appearances for Man City since a £45 million transfer from Leeds in July 2022. Their manager, Pep Guardiola, conceded in December that Phillips would not be part of the club’s plans going forward.
The Spaniard said ahead of the player’s loan move to West Ham: "It is going to be a loan for six months and hopefully, he can play the minutes he deserves and I couldn’t give to him.
"I wish him well. I said many times, he is [both] an exceptional human being and a football player otherwise he wouldn’t be in the national team.
"But at the same time, I am honest with myself, [with] the squad you have to decide what you are looking for, for different things. I can say how grateful I am for his behaviour on and off the pitch for many, many situations."

Kalvin Phillips’ poor run of form
The 28-year-old joined West Ham on loan in January but he failed to live up to expectations and so is now back at Man City.
Phillips was even caught on camera giving the middle finger to fans following the 4-3 defeat at Newcastle, where he gave away a penalty.
Everton are looking to bolster their midfield and will have to use the loan market to bring players into the fold, owing to financial concerns.
