Carragher 'feels sorry' for Man Utd star who made transfer mistake
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher thinks that Rasmus Hojlund should have left his move to Manchester United and not joined the Old Trafford club so soon.
The 21-year-old striker arrived from Atalanta last summer window for €73 million, with the centre-forward expected to be the main focus of goals for the club, who failed to bring in Harry Kane before the end of the transfer window.
Hojlund enjoyed his best form in the Champions League before finally finding his feet in the Premier League.
The youngster scored his first goal in the competition on Boxing Day, before netting in five consecutive games. He then picked up a muscle injury which broke his momentum.

In total, Hojlund has 14 goals in 39 games across all competitions this season - but Carragher believes that he should have stayed in Italy instead of making the switch..
Speaking on the Stick to Football podcast, Carragher admitted that he felt bad for Hojlund and the pressure that had been placed on his shoulders."I feel a bit sorry for Hojlund, he’s a young lad, the jump he has made is probably a bit too much for him to start with," he said.
"He should have gone somewhere else for two years then to United maybe. I just feel sorry for him."
What did Jamie Carragher say about Antony?
Carragher also spoke about the Man Utd players last week after Antony was seen leaving the pitch with his hand covering his mouth.
"Do you know why this winds me up [players putting their hands over their mouths and speaking to each other]?
"They go back and defend a corner and he is still doing it; I hate that. When Antony was coming off, I knew what he was talking about. He is talking about one of the players, he’s talking about the manager. He is not talking about where they [the players] are going.
"I hate all of that whispering when you have had a bad defeat. They are talking about someone, and I am not having that. You can imagine the coach on the way home and on the plane. Hojlund is probably sat there thinking everyone is talking about him."
