Ten Hag in dreamland! Dutch superstar wants Man Utd transfer
Manchester United may add to their growing contingent of ex-Eredivisie stars with the acquisition of Denzel Dumfries, according to Italian media.
The Inter right-back is stuck in a contract stalemate with the Italian champions and has been for months. The Nerazzurri are said to be unwilling to accede to the former PSV star's wage demands and a summer departure is looking increasingly likely.
Dumfries is out of contract in 2025 and this means that Inter will have to cash in on him in the upcoming transfer window unless they can manage to agree fresh terms with him.

Speculation surrounding the 28-year-old has been rampant for months and one of the sides most prominently linked with him have been Man Utd. The Red Devils were heavily interested in the Dutchman in previous windows and it is evident that they could once again become an option for him.
Dumfries wants Man Utd move
Dumfries, it seems, would certainly be open to linking up with compatriot Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford. At least that's according to Gazzetta dello Sport, which claims that the marauding full-back would be open to a move to Man Utd.
What makes Dumfries such a potentially attractive option for the Red Devils is his price tag. The Italian outlet claims that just €25 million to €30m could be enough to prise him away from Milan.

This makes him significantly cheaper than fellow Dutch Man Utd target Jeremie Frimpong, who plays in the same position, nominally at least. The Bayer Leverkusen star has a €40m release clause and this is also viewed as a potential bargain given his stunning offensive output in Germany.
However, Man Utd may not be in a position to spend that much on a right-back given that they also have many other problem areas in need of bolstering this summer. Dumfries could prove to be a shrewd pick-up, especially if Aaron Wan-Bissaka leaves.
