Max Allegri’s sacking by Juventus last week could alter the trajectories of Man Utd summer targets Gleison Bremer and Adrien Rabiot.

Man Utd want to sign both Juventus players this summer.

Bremer is widely reported to be their top target at centre back, while Rabiot is a long-term target and available on a free transfer when his contract expires on July 1.

According to Alfredo Pedulla, the sacking of Allegri by Juventus will change the futures of both players.

Bremer is now more likely to stay as Allegri’s almost certain replacement Thiago Motta is a big fan of the Brazilian.

Although until now Juventus have been open to selling Bremer for a fee of around €60-70 million, Motta wants to build his defence around the central defender.

Rabiot likely to leave

Rabiot, on the other hand, is now more likely to leave.

The Frenchman has a very close relationship with Allegri and publicly criticised Juventus on social media for the way they sacked the manager.

Allegri was given his marching orders after a series of controversies in the aftermath of Juventus’ Coppa Italia final win over Bologna last Wednesday.

Rabiot is now considered unlikely to consider signing a new contract with Allegri gone.

That opens the door for Man Utd to finally sign a player they have been close to getting twice before, in the summer of 2023 and 2022.
