Man Utd to sacrifice Greenwood for Chelsea flop
Manchester United are interested in swapping Mason Greenwood for Joao Felix, according to a report.
The Red Devils are looking for a way to offload the disgraced forward. Greenwood managed to somewhat resurrect his career on loan at Getafe in the bygone season, but his reputation will forever be tarnished.
Man Utd are unwilling to once again risk the ire of their fans by bringing Greenwood back into the fold as they initially planned last summer and will instead look to move him on.

There are plenty of options on the table, with Greenwood having just won Getafe's Player of the Season award. It has been claimed that the Englishman is keen on remaining with the club, while the likes of Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus have been credited with an interest.
The first of those could perhaps soon get their hands on the 22-year-old, but they will have to offer up a player in return.
Greenwood for Felix?
At least that is according to a sensation report from the Daily Star, which claims that Man Utd are 'considering' swapping Greenwood for Joao Felix. The latter spent the previous season on loan at Barcelona and his relationship with Atletico and coach Diego Simeone is said to be completely broken.
Barcelona are unable to afford a permanent move and Felix's form in recent months hasn't been particularly impressive, which means that it is unlikely any club in Europe will be prepared to match Atletico's €60 million asking price.

Enter Man Utd, who could look to capitalise on the Madrid outfit's interest in Greenwood by demanding Felix in return. Prior to his stint in Catalunya, Felix had a brief and unsuccessful stint on loan at Chelsea, and the Blues were also unwilling to make his move permanent.
It seems doubtful that a swap between these two players will materialise, but stranger things have happened.
