Arsenal bad boy Arteta kicked out ‘chases away’ transfer rumours in €250,000 Lamborghini
Former Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi finds himself at the centre of summer transfer rumours but the Lazio midfielder appears to be doing his best to step away from those by taking a break in a €250,000 Lamborghini.
Lazio signed the France international star on a permanent basis from Marseille in April when they lifted a clause in his contract to sign the player for €13 million, yet the 25-year-old, who earned a reputation as a bad boy at Arsenal when he was ultimately forced out of the club by Mikel Arteta, could be on the move again.
Guendouzi’s relationship with head coach Igor Tudor was strained, and though the Croat resigned from the post at the beginning of June, there is still a good deal of noise surrounding the midfielder.

Juventus have reportedly been interested in him, eyeing a €30m bid, and though Douglas Luiz’s arrival from Aston Villa is likely to see that talk shutdown, there is feeling that the former Arsenal star’s future is not secure.
Guendouzi, however, appears to be particularly relaxed about his future, taking to Instagram to picture himself in a Lamborghini Huracan Spyder worth €257,000, “chasing away” rumours relating to his future, according to Auto.it.
“Holidays with my brothers,” the player posted on the social media site while sitting in the car, which can reach a top speed of 325km/h and can travel from 0-100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds.

A history of controversy
Guendouzi, meanwhile, continues to be remembered in England for his fiery reputation.
Although he turned out 82 times for the Gunners, his career was brought to an inglorious went after clashing with Brighton player Neal Maupay, which led to the club freezing him out due to his history of issues with his “attitude and general conduct”.
“I have no regrets about what I did at Arsenal,” Guendouzi told The Athletic. “I was 19 and I went on to play 85 games in two years. Eighty-five games for a big club like Arsenal is a lot.
"I didn’t work with Arteta a lot, I only had six months. I was 19, so I was learning every day. I wouldn’t make the same mistakes I did when I was 19. But in football, every day you learn and mistakes are part of football. Mistakes are part of life. You become a better man and a better footballer with mistakes. For me, it was a very good club because I played a lot.
“Arteta is doing a very good job at Arsenal, they are fighting for the title, they are a very good team and he’s doing amazing things. I hope they will get a trophy because Arsenal is a big club. I wish the best for them.”
