Arsenal are reportedly willing to offload Kieran Tierney for a measly €11.8 million (£10m) following his loan spell at Real Sociedad.

Tierney, 27, has fallen out of favour under Mikel Arteta and he spent the entirety of last season on loan in LaLiga, with Oleksandr Zinchenko, Jakub Kiwior and Takehiro Tomiyasu deployed at left-back.

Jurrien Timber is now back to full fitness and Arsenal are hoping to sell Tierney on a permanent deal as they look to generate funds for their pursuit of a new central midfielder and a new striker.

According to The Sunday Post, via Metro, Arsenal have set Tierney’s asking price at a mere €11.8m. The Scotland international, who is currently at Euro 2024 with his nation, has two years left on his current contract with the Gunners, but he is expected to depart this summer.

Newcastle United have been heavily linked with a move for Tierney, while Aston Villa has previously been touted as a possible destination.

Although Arsenal have set Tierney’s asking price at €11.8m, his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) stands at €20.7m, suggesting the Gunners could sell him for below his market value.

This is an issue that Arsenal have struggled with in recent years, proven by the fact Marc Overmars remains their most expensive departure of all time. The ex-Netherlands international left the Emirates Stadium to join Barcelona for €40m in 2000.

Who will Arsenal sign this summer

With Tierney potentially on the way out, Arsenal have been linked with signing Ajax wonderkid Jorrel Hato as his replacement.

Benjamin Sesko, Douglas Luiz and Martin Zubimendi are also admired, but all three players are unlikely to join the club.

Joshua Zirkzee could arrive as competition for Kai Havertz, while Amadou Onana may join from Everton to replace Thomas Partey.
