Chelsea battle Liverpool for 'future Ballon d'Or winner'
Chelsea and Liverpool are both keen on Jamal Musiala, according to a report.
The Bayern Munich wonderkid has been starring for Germany at Euro 2024 so far, currently leading the scoring charts with two strikes (not counting the prolific Mr. Own Goal) after netting against Scotland and Hungary.
The 21-year-old has stolen the show on home soil in his country's opening two matches and earned himself plaudits from every quarter. Julian Nagelsmann called him 'brilliant' after the Hungary game, while Gary Lineker described him as 'magical.'

Regarded as one of the biggest talents in world football, Rio Ferdinand previously insisted that Musiala has everything required to be a future Ballon d'Or winner and he has certainly been playing like one in recent times.
This has, naturally, reignited the interest of Europe's elite.
Musiala in demand - but will he move?
According to The Mirror, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City are the Premier League sides who are desperate to snap up the German wonderkid, who grew up in London and spent time in the Blues academy.
In fact, it is even claimed that an offensive for the attacking midfielder's signature could be launched this summer. Musiala has made no secret of his desire to eventually return to England and play in the Premier League, but a summer move does appear unlikely.

Musiala is under contract at Bayern for two more years and while it is true that contract talks have been stalling since early 2023, Fabrizio Romano has reported that this won't be the case for much longer.
Bayern are ready to make Musiala the face of their long-term project and are set to return to the negotiating table with his camp in the coming week and month, offering the player a behemoth proposal to convince him to stay for the foreseeable future.
