Arsenal and Manchester United have reportedly contacted Chelsea regarding a possible summer move for England midfielder Conor Gallagher.

The 24-year-old has just one year left on his current contract at Stamford Bridge and has been heavily linked with a summer exit.

Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur are both keen on purchasing Gallagher, while Atletico Madrid are also interested, according to AS.

In addition, the Spanish outlet have revealed that Arsenal and Man Utd are among the clubs who have contacted Chelsea regarding a move for the Englishman.

Gallagher made 50 appearances last season, but his future at Stamford Bridge remains unknown amid the Blues’ desire to generate pure profit from academy graduates.

Man Utd signed Mason Mount from Chelsea last summer, while David Luiz, Petr Cech and Willian have all joined Arsenal from the Blues in recent years.

Why Pedro Lima deal fell through

Chelsea looked set to sign Brazilian defender Pedro Lima, via Strasbourg, but Wolverhampton Wanderers have seemingly won the race for his signature.

Sport Recife have revealed that an agreement has been reached with Wolves, and Lima is expected to undergo his medical at Molineux soon.

The Athletic have reported that Chelsea academy star Josh Acheampong played a key role in why Lima hasn’t joined the Blues.

The 17-year-old made his senior debut against Tottenham Hotspur during the 2023-24 campaign and he is currently viewed as a bigger prospect as things stand.

Michael Olise latest

Crystal Palace have offered Michael Olise a new deal in a bid to ward off interest from Chelsea and Manchester United, according to Fabrizio Romano.

In addition, TEAMtalk believe that Palace’s contract offer contains a release clause worth €118 million (£110m).

However, the South London Press have reported that Olise hasn’t been offered a new contract, contrary to reports.

The France U21 international is Chelsea’s priority summer target after he notched 15 goals and assists in 19 Premier League appearances last season.

Ian Maatsen to Aston Villa?

Ian Maatsen’s proposed move to Aston Villa is in an advanced stage after Chelsea accepted an offer of around €45m.

Unai Emery’s side are currently negotiating personal terms with the Dutchman as they look to complete their first signing of the summer.

Maatsen spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund and while the German side are eager to sign him permanently, they have been unwilling to match Chelsea’s asking price.

However, Romano has revealed that Omorodion is keen to repay Atletico Madrid’s faith after the Spanish giants signed him as a relative unknown last summer.
