Arsenal and Man Utd target is '100% leaving' - Fabrizio Romano
Youssouf Fofana is '100 per cent leaving' Monaco this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Speculation surrounding the France midfielder has been rampant for 12 months. Courted by English clubs last summer, Fofana eventually decided to remain in Ligue 1, but the links to clubs abroad never disappeared.
The likes of Arsenal and Man Utd are said to be keen on the 25-year-old and it is not hard to see why. Fofana is coming off probably his best season in a Monaco kit and the France international established himself as a very good playmaking midfielder who is also defensively solid.

Ahead of the summer transfer window, Fofana's future has once again been the subject of discussion, not least because it has been fuelled by the player himself and by his club.
Monaco CEO Thiago Scuro has admitted that they are looking to sell Fofana this summer, while the player recently stated that he has an agreement with the Principality side to facilitate a move. Now, Fabrizio Romano has chimed in.
Romano on Fofana
Speaking to CaughtOffside, the Italian transfer expert guaranteed that Fofana would be on the move in the upcoming transfer window. "Youssouf Fofana is 100% leaving Monaco this summer."
"At the moment it’s a calm situation, nothing close or advanced with any club for Fofana from what I heard. He just wants to try something new and Monaco don’t want to lose him for free in 2025, so both parties are keen on an exit for this summer."

Romano also spoke about the interest from Arsenal and Man Utd in the player on his YouTube channel, saying: "He was on the list of Man Utd last summer. Arsenal have been sending their scouts multiple times to follow him in the recent months and years at Monaco, so let's see if Arsenal will decide to go for Fofana."
