Fabrizio Romano transfer news: Olise BOMB, Greenwood at Man Utd OVER, De Zerbi SHOCK
Fabrizio Romano has provided fans with the latest updates from the world of football transfer news, with stunning revelations on important players such as Michael Olise, Mason Greenwood and Jhon Duran, and also a shock move for Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi.
Crystal Palace star Olise has been a major transfer topic for weeks due to his excellent form.
Romano has provided the latest on a player that Manchester United, Chelsea and Newcastle are set to squabble over in the weeks ahead.

“Chelsea have always been there. But Olise has always been there,” Romano explained on his YouTube channel. “This is why, Crystal Palace formally to ask about the release clause of the player. They want to understand how it works.
“There are some in the industry who believe the clause is only valid for Champions League clubs. This is still private.
“Chelsea approached Palace to understand the agreement but also to get the green light to have a conversation with Olise and his agent over his contract. But they want Palace to be in good conversation and want, first of all, to agree personal terms. Conversations are ongoing between Chelsea and Olise.

“Manchester United and Newcastle both remain there. They’re really interested in Olise. But they have the same problem with regards the Champions League.
“And then clubs from abroad. It’s true there are some clubs from abroad asking about him but for the moment, Premier League clubs are the ones who are really pushing as top priority. Chelsea are going very serious with this one.”
Chelsea favourites to sign Duran
Chelsea are also in talks with Aston Villa over striker Jhon Duran, with Romano adding that it’s unlikely Conor Gallagher will be included in any swap deal.
“Chelsea are still working on Jhon Duran,” he said. “Talks are absolutely ongoing with Aston Villa but also with the agent of the player over the contract, the salary, the commission. The entire package is being discussed.
“Important clubs are prepared to enter the race. Chelsea remain the favourites because Duran wants to go to Chelsea. It’s on them to agree personal terms, agent fees and with Aston Villa.
“It's unlikely Gallagher will be part of this deal. He doesn’t want to decide anything now. He doesn’t want a deal before the Euros.”
Greenwood and Man Utd ‘over’
Romano has said that it is “over” between Mason Greenwood and Manchester United, with the Old Trafford club set to wash their hands of the striker this summer.
He declared: “Mason Greenwood is over at Manchester United. They want to sell Mason Greenwood. It could be a loan with an obligation to buy – an obligation, not an option.
“Man Utd are considering interest from around Europe in Greenwood. There is a lot of interest. The club will take their time to pick the best proposal.
“There is interest from Juventus, yes, there have been conversations between Juventus and Man Utd, yes, but before saying Greenwood will go there, Juventus have to sell at least one offensive player.
“We have to follow the situation of Federico Chiesa. In the last 24 hours, there’s been a meeting between his agents and Juventus. In this, Juve confirmed they’re open to let Chiesa leave in the summer transfer window. But Chiesa wants to wait. He will not be in a rush, he wants to play at his best level at the Euros. Juventus have been clear with Chiesa: if they receive a good proposal, they will let him go.”
De Zerbi to Marseille
And finally to a move no one saw coming: Roberto De Zerbi will leave Brighton for Marseille.
Having been linked to major clubs all over Europe this summer, it appears that he will wind up at Stade Velodrome in an unlikely twist.
“It’s an almost here we go for Marseille fans,” Romano said. “Roberto De Zerbi will be the new manager. There is an agreement between De Zerbi and Marseille on the contract. It will be a three-year deal.
“Everything is fixed, everything is going the right way. What’s needed now? An agreement between Marseille and Brighton. The clause in his contract changed from €15m to something like €5-6m. Now Marseille will have to proceed.”
