Man Utd open to 'huge' Rashford transfer – on one condition
Manchester United would be open to selling Marcus Rashford this summer if they received a ‘huge’ offer, providing they first secure a ‘box-office’ replacement, according to a new report.
Rashford was the subject of intense criticism throughout last season, having failed to come close to his goal tally from the previous campaign, in which he netted 30 times across all competitions.
The England international scored just eight goals across the entire season, leading to his omission from Gareth Southgate’s squad for the European Championships.

Rashford is also thought to have a strained relationship with Erik ten Hag, with the 26-year-old being fined twice last season for being seen partying before and after important matchdays.
With Ten Hag confirmed to be staying on as manager next season, Football Insider claims that United would consider a ‘huge’ offer for Rashford, although they would first need to secure a ‘blue-chip replacement’ for the forward.
Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain have previously been linked with a transfer for Rashford, while it is believed a proposed deal for Bologna’s Joshua Zirkzee could push the United star closer to the exit door.
Rashford determined to repair relationship with Ten Hag
Rashford is United’s highest earner and still has four years remaining on his deal, making a transfer difficult even if the club were willing to cash in.
Despite the speculation, Rashford has ‘vowed’ to repair his fractured relationship with Ten Hag according to The Sun, who state that the player has no desire to leave his boyhood club.

Rashford is also described as being ‘pleased’ with the club’s commitment to Ten Hag despite the pair ‘barely being on speaking terms’ at times last season.
“Marcus knows one thing with ten Hag and that is that he really rates him,” an unnamed source is quoted as saying. “He knows a new manager could have come in and got rid of him. He doesn’t want to go anywhere and wants to get back to his best.”
