Bruno Fernandes’ agent IN TALKS with ‘top clubs’ – Fabrizio Romano
Manchester United face a fight to keep Bruno Fernandes at the club, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that the Red Devils’ captain is openly flirting with the possibility of leaving for another “top club”.
While Bruno and manager Erik ten Hag have both been insistent that the Portugal international’s future remains at Old Trafford, it appears that the playmaker’s representatives are keeping their options open.
Previously, Fernandes was linked with the possibility of leaving for either Bayern Munich or potentially the Saudi Pro League.

Romano, meanwhile, has confirmed that there are talks taking place – but he has stressed that this does not mean the 29-year-old former Sporting CP and Fiorentina star has decided to leave.
“The reality is that Fernandes’ agent Miguel Pinho has met with some European top clubs last week,” Romano confirms on the Daily Briefing.
“Contacts took place, but the player remains focused on Man Utd and his exit is not something decided at this point. It will also depend on Man Utd’s new project, what happens with the manager, what they will ‘present’ to Bruno in new meeting.
“It’s a stand-by moment between Fernandes and Man United, waiting to make final decision with a new contract for the player also being a possibility in case he decides to stay.”
O Jogo claims that one of the clubs interested in Bruno is Bayern Munich and that conversations over a deal have started.

Man Utd stalling
Man Utd’s ongoing dithering over whether Ten Hag will remain in charge at the club or not is having a knock-on effect to their summer transfer policy, and it seems that the case of Bruno is one of those that is impacted.
It has been claimed the Old Trafford side find themselves in limbo due to the fact that no one apparently knows whether Ten Hag is staying or leaving, despite the widespread expectation that the former Ajax boss would be sacked last week.
Bruno Fernandes ended the 2023/24 season with 15 goals and 13 assists for Man Utd – but will it be his last at Old Trafford? The answer is not yet clear.
