Erik ten Hag to STAY as Man Utd manager
Erik ten Hag will remain as Manchester United manager following a post-season review conducted by the club.
The Dutchman was under severe pressure following an eighth place finish in the 2023-24 English top flight campaign - the club’s worst in Premier League history - but the Red Devils have decided that he will remain in charge next season.
That is according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, who has revealed that Ten Hag will stay at Old Trafford, despite rumours of an exit.

The likes of Mauricio Pochettino, Thomas Tuchel, Gareth Southgate and Roberto De Zerbi have all been linked with the Man Utd job in recent weeks, but the Red Devils have opted to keep faith with Ten Hag.
The former Ajax manager led the club to FA Cup glory last month, sealing his second trophy in just two years at the club.
Man Utd reportedly held talks with the 54-year-old on Tuesday and agreed that he would remain as the club’s manager.

Furthermore, Ornstein has revealed that Man Utd are set to enter into contract extension talks with Ten Hag following their decision to stick with the Dutchman. His existing deal runs until 2025, with an option for a further year, but the club will now discuss a possible extension.
Man Utd co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS sporting director Sir Dave Brailsford led the club’s post-season review and opted to continue with Ten Hag, despite the plethora of other top-class managers available.
Man Utd’s summer transfer business
With Ten Hag set to continue as Man Utd manager, the club can now begin finalising their summer transfer plans.
The likes of Jarrad Branthwaite (Everton) and Michael Olise (Crystal Palace) remain key targets, while the Red Devils are also pursuing a new central midfielder to replace Casemiro and a new striker to replace Anthony Martial.
Raphael Varane and Martial have already departed on free transfers, with Christian Eriksen among the players also expected to leave.
