The Everton defender has been deep in talks with the Red Devils over the past year and has verbally agreed terms with the Old Trafford club.

Though it’s been reported that there are issues with the fee, we are told that it’s merely a matter of sorting out the add-ons and clauses and there is confidence a move will be concluded before July.

Man Utd have marked Branthwaite as their top target to bolster their backline and it’s thought that a deal will be concluded by June 30, the final day of the financial year for the Premier League, with clubs having to submit their accounts.

As previously reported, Everton are willing to listen to offers for Branthwaite at around £50-£60 million but want to insert certain clauses to make the overall package closer to £65m and above.

Clubs such as Real Madrid, Man City, and Newcastle all registered a tentative interest in the youngster, however, Man Utd have been deep in talks with the player's side over a proposed switch for some time and are expected to seal the 21-year-old's signature.

Jack Harrison

Jack Harrison is available for another loan this summer provided the interested club covers his full wages - but the Leeds winger is looking for a permanent switch away, we are told.

As the Whites did not achieve promotion to the Premier League, Harrison can leave for another season on loan.

Everton are keen on tying him down to another year at Goodison Park but we understand that Harrison is hoping to make a move for the long-term and right now Sean Dyche's side cannot afford to pay Leeds a fee for a permanent transfer.

It's believed that the 27-year-old's situation has alerted other clubs and talks are set to be held over his future.
