Revealed: Jadon Sancho AT FAULT for Man Utd's Antony transfer
Jadon Sancho reportedly played a key role in Antony’s move to Manchester United in 2022.
Sancho, now 24, joined the Red Devils from Borussia Dortmund for €85 million in 2021, but he struggled during his debut campaign at Old Trafford and was frozen out of the senior squad entirely in September last year.
Erik ten Hag opted to remove Sancho from Man Utd’s first-team squad after a public bust-up and the Englishman re-joined Dortmund on loan in the January transfer window.

However, the pair’s first issue came in Ten Hag’s second ever Man Utd game - a humiliating 4-0 defeat against Brentford.
After the match, Sancho told Ten Hag that Man Utd had signed the wrong player, due to the fact he wanted to play as a left winger, rather than off the right.
That is according to The Athletic, who have reported that Sancho’s comments led Ten Hag to sign a new right winger, with Antony soon arriving from Ajax.

Jadon Sancho led to Antony’s Man Utd move
Antony cost a whopping €95m and has registered just 11 goals and five assists in 82 appearances during his Man Utd career so far.
He only started 15 Premier League matches last season, having been usurped by Argentine youngster Alejandro Garnacho.
In addition, Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise is also being targeted by Man Utd as the club searches for a long-term right winger.
Although he frequently played as a right winger in the Bundesliga, and returned to that position when he re-joined Dortmund in January, Sancho’s desire to play on the left essentially led to Antony’s Man Utd move.
Now, Sancho is set to leave Old Trafford on a permanent deal this summer, while Antony has been a disastrous signing and is set for an even more reduced role at Man Utd next season.
All in all, it has been a terrible turn of events and INEOS will be hoping to avoid such transfer errors in the future.
