Revealed: Man Utd target 'expected to leave' this summer
Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing RB Salzburg defender Oumar Solet, who is likely to leave the Austrian outfit this summer.
Solet, 24, only has one year left on his current contract at Salzburg and he has attracted significant transfer interest from multiple European clubs.
The centre-back is expected to leave Salzburg this summer, according to RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins, as he wishes to take the next step in his football career.

Bayer Leverkusen, Stuttgart and Man Utd are all interested in signing Solet, as per RMC Sport, while an unnamed Premier League club and an unnamed Serie A club are also keen.
Salzburg reportedly want between €12-15 million for Solet, who joined the club for €4.5m from Lyon in July 2020.
Solet made 28 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring two goals and providing one assist.

Man Utd’s summer transfer business
Despite interest in Solet, Man Utd are currently prioritising a move for Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite. The Red Devils have agreed terms with the Englishman, but they are yet to match Everton’s asking price, which is in excess of €75m.
Marc Guehi, Edmond Tapsoba, Jean-Clair Todibo, Ronald Araujo and Gleison Bremer have also been linked with an Old Trafford switch in recent weeks as Man Utd look to sign a replacement for Raphael Varane.
In other news, Erik ten Hag’s side are interested in Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise, but they face significant competition from the likes of Chelsea and Newcastle United.
Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee is also a key target as Man Utd look to sign a new striker following Anthony Martial’s exit.
FootballTransfers understands that the Red Devils are hoping to tie Ten Hag down to fresh terms, with the club’s FA Cup triumph over Manchester City thought to be a significant factor in the decision.
We are told that the Dutchman impressed the club with his bullish determination to overcome the Premier League winners at Wembley.
