Man Utd submit EMBARRASSING Branthwaite offer
Manchester United have submitted a lowball offer to Everton for Jarrad Branthwaite.
The Athletic reports that the Red Devils bid £35 million for the 21-year-old but that it’s set to be rejected by the Toffees.
Everton had made an asking price of around £65m for their biggest asset but Man Utd put in an offer almost half of that.

The Merseyside club believe that Branthwaite is content at Goodison Park and they will need a lot more to allow him to depart.
FootballTransfers reported today that Branthwaite is edging near to a move to Old Trafford and there is anticipation that a deal will conclude by the end of the month.
The Everton defender has been deep in talks with the Red Devils over the past year and has verbally agreed terms with the Old Trafford club.
Though it’s been reported that there are issues with the fee, we are told that it’s merely a matter of sorting out the add-ons and clauses and there is confidence a move will be concluded before July.
A £35m bid made for Branthwaite per Athletic - as reported Everton 21yo is first choice and not 'one of many'.
Risible initial offer - Man Utd know that will be knocked back. Lots to play out in public. Imagine there will be a few back and forths in the coming weeks now. https://t.co/jAovaZGOrN— Jacque Talbot (@jac_talbot) June 14, 2024

How much do Everton want for Jarrad Branthwaite
As previously reported, Everton are willing to listen to offers for Branthwaite at around £50-£60 million but want to insert certain clauses to make the overall package closer to £65m and above.
Clubs such as Real Madrid, Man City, and Newcastle all registered a tentative interest in the youngster, however, Man Utd have been deep in talks with the player's side over a proposed switch for some time and are expected to seal the 21-year-old's signature.
