Romano’s Olise claim shot down by Palace
Fabrizio Romano has reported that Crystal Palace offered Michael Olise a new deal - but the club have subsequently denied the claim.
The Italian reporter, who has been at the heart of the saga over the past few months, mentioned that the South London club lodged a new improved contract for Olise, as to get him to stay with the side.
Olise is attracting interested from Liverpool, Manchester United, and Chelsea, but it’s not clear where he would rather leave to. But Romano has claimed Palace have offered a new deal to the winger.

However, a reporter from the London press has come out to say that no improved offer has been made to the 22-year-old.
This has been raised online to Romano, who decided to double down on his claim when asked by a fan.
Olise signed a new deal with Palace only last year, snubbing a switch to Chelsea. As a result, Palace kept the player for last term, where he showed an impressive second half of the season under Oliver Glasner.
Olise will have a number of clubs to choose from as the summer transfer window continues to get underway.
Many clubs are after a right-sided attacker and see Olise as the perfect fit. Pedro Neto, who plays a similar role at Wolves, had also been linked to several Premier League clubs, but it’s thought that the Portuguese’s injury record had let him down.
they did my friend, ofc it doesn’t mean he will decide to sign but the offer is there. ;)

Told Crystal Palace have not offered Michael Olise a new contract at Selhurst Park yet.
Doesn’t mean it won’t happen but no new terms on the table at the moment #CPFC— Edmund Brack (@EdmundBrack) June 20, 2024

It’s not clear whether he will be leaving the Midlands club this window.
Olise will be continue to be linked to clubs in the Premier League, but it appears as though no breakthrough is near. The player has an emotional connection to Palace and there is an outside possibility that he stays at Selhurst Park for next term.
Will Olise leave Crystal Palace?
Last year, the France U21 international was close to joining Chelsea, but he opted to snub the Blues at the last minute in favour of staying at Palace.
The Blues already have Cole Palmer, Noni Madueke, Raheem Sterling, Omari Hutchinson and Angelo Gabriel as right winger options but the futures of those remain uncertain.
Olise joined Palace from Reading in 2021 after the Eagles activated his £8.37m release clause. He has made 90 appearances and scored 16 goals in that time.
