Arsenal and Man Utd told bargain €25m price for midfield target
France international Youssouf Fofana could be available for as little as €25 million this summer, according to a report.
The Monaco midfielder will be on the move in this transfer window, that much has been known for some time. Both the Principality club's CEO Thiago Scuro and Fofana himself have confirmed that a move away will likely materialise this summer.
What isn't yet known, however, is where the midfielder will end up. Last summer, Fofana snubbed interest from the Premier League to remain in Ligue 1, feeling that the offers and projects on the table weren't good enough.

This time around, the 25-year-old will definitely sign for a new club. Arsenal and Man Utd have been keeping tabs on the Frenchman as they look to strengthen their engine room, though little in the way of a concrete approach has thus far materialised.
The same can't be said for AC Milan, however.
Milan to table €25m bid
At least that is according to Gazzetta dello Sport, which reports that the Rossoneri are on the verge of making an opening offer for Fofana. Intriguingly, the Italian outlet reports that Monaco could be prepared to accept as little as €25m for their star man.
This, of course, will be music to the ears of those at Arsenal and especially those at Man Utd, who are operating on a restricted budget, though the context in which this has been revealed may not be quite as heartening.

Nevertheless, a transfer is far from complete, giving the Premier League giants and other sides ample opportunity to weigh up also entering the frame. The €25m valuation of Fofana tallies nicely with his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €21.5m.
The above-mentioned report states that Fofana is keen on the move to Milan, who would try to tie him down to a three-year deal with an option for a fourth. It remains to be seen whether Arsenal and Man Utd will try to get involved.
