Arsenal COMPLETE second summer transfer after David Raya
Mikel Arteta's side have not had a busy window so far. Naturally, as the rest of the Premier League, Arsenal's summer transfer activity has been sparse.
That is only to be expected given both the Copa America and Euro 2024 were taking place at the same time.
However, with both tournaments concluding on Sunday night, things are expected to speed up.

In the case of Arsenal things are already speeding up. The club's recruitment team is actively working on trying to wrap up the signing of Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna, although they are yet to strike an agreement.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have just agreed a deal for their second transfer of the summer after already completing a move for David Raya.
However, instead of this deal being an incoming new signing, it's actually a player leaving the Emirates for Pastures new.
Albert Sambi Lokonga, who has spent the past two seasons out on loan at Luton Town and Crystial Palace has agreed yet another loan spell.
This time the midfielder is heading on loan to Sevilla in La Liga as confirmed by the club's official website, where he will be hoping to help the club bounce back from a torrid campaign last season.
The 24 year old was expected to leave on a permanent deal this summer with Sambi Lokonga clearly having no long-term future at Arsenal.

However, it seems like Sevilla could not offer a deal Arsenal were happy to accept. Either way, the club will be hoping for Sambi Lokonga to catch the eye on loan and earn himself a move on a permanent basis at the end of next season.
For Arsenal, the priority will now turn back to bringing in new reinforcements for the new season.
Arteta was so close to lifting the Premier League title and the hope is that with a few new faces added to bolster the squad, the Gunners will be able to do what they couldn't in the last two seasons.
