Aubameyang spent four years at Arsenal and was one of the best players in the Premier League at that time.

He scored 10 goals in 13 games in the 2017/18 season at the North London club, having joined from Borussia Dortmund in January.

The 35-year-old then scored 22 goals in consecutive league campaigns and competed with the likes of Harry Kane and Mohamed Salah for the Golden Boot.

He ultimately fell out of favour under Mikel Arteta and left for Barcelona in February 2022.

After spells at the Catalan club, Chelsea and Marseille, he is now ready for a new challenge, where he will join many of the sport's top players.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Al-Qadsiah

Aubameyang's next adventure, likely the last of his career, will be at Saudi club Al-Qadsiah.

The ex-Arsenal captain will join Real Madrid legend Nacho on the newly-promoted side.

Nacho had been with Los Blancos for 23 years and finally decided to leave at the end of the 2023/24 season.

While Al-Qadsiah do not have any other high-profile players, other clubs in the Saudi Pro League certainly do.

Aubameyang will have to get past the likes of Aymeric Laporte, Fabinho and N'Golo Kante if he wants to score next season.

Meanwhile, Nacho will have to stop forwards such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Neymar.
