CONFIRMED: Arsenal academy star changes agency as confidence over new deal grows
Arsenal are confident of securing a deal with their academy star, Chido Obi-Martin, with the youngster changing his agency, FootballTransfers has been told.
Despite concrete interest from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, the Premier League club believe that the teenager will remain with them.
He recently joined the Elite Project Group agency, a firm that represents several current and former Arsenal players like Bukayo Saka Eddie Nketiah, Alex Iwobi, Folarin Balogun and Chuba Akpom.

This move, according to sources close to the club, has given Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta more confidence in keeping Obi-Martin at the club, after family members of the player believed a switch to Germany would be beneficial for him.
The 16-year-old striker has been prolific in front of goal this season, hitting the back of the net 32 times for Arsenal's Under-18 team under Jack Wilshere's guidance.
Arsenal have offered Obi-Martin a scholarship for this summer, with plans for him to sign a professional contract when he turns 17 in November.

Obi-Martin shone for the Danish team at the 2024 European U17 Championship in Cyprus, helping the Scandinavians reach the semi-finals where they were beaten by eventual champions Italy.
He started his career in Denmark with local club KB, Obi and joined Arsenal's academy at 14 years old. He advanced through the youth side and was promoted to the under-18 team at fifteen. In his first start for the under-18 side, he scored a hat-trick in a 4–0 win against Southampton last year.
Arsenal target Eze
It comes after our story which revealed that Arsenal are showing interest in Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze this window and are looking to beat Tottenham and Liverpool to his signature, FootballTransfers has been told.
We understand that the Gunners contacted his agents earlier this month to gauge his interest in a move to the Emirates.
No further contact has occurred between the parties or clubs since then but sources inform us that the attacker remains a target for Mikel Arteta.

We understand that Eze is hesitant to leave Palace for a club that cannot assure him first-team football, which could make a deal complicated.
