Arsenal face new transfer offensive for 'hugely popular' star - Romano
Fulham could return with a fresh offer for Emile Smith Rowe, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Arsenal homegrown's time at the Emirates appears to be coming to an end. An eminently talented player, Smith Rowe has failed to win back his place in the side after he saw his momentum disrupted by injury in 2022/23.
The previous season, he had been one of the Gunners' undisputed stars, but it eventually appeared as though he lost the trust of manager Mikel Arteta due to his repeated fitness issues. After two seasons of mostly watching on from the bench or the sidelines, Smith Rowe is keen on first-team football.

According to The Athletic, Arsenal will not stand in the Hale End product's way, but they will only agree to sell the 23-year-old for the right price. Sky Sports reported on Monday that the Gunners have knocked back bids from Fulham and Crystal Palace.
Now, Fabrizio Romano states that the Cottagers could return for the attacking midfielder.
Fulham still want Smith Rowe
The Italian transfer expert has revealed that Fulham have not been deterred by Arsenal's decision to reject their opening offer. Romano states that Fulham are considering launching a fresh transfer offensive, though no financial details were disclosed.
It is unclear how much Arsenal are really demanding for Smith Rowe, who has been described as a 'hugely popular' figure at Arsenal by The Athletic. The Gunners are not desperate to sell him but will grant his wish to leave for more game time out of respect.
