Nico Williams blow
Barcelona are set to open talks with Arsenal target Nico Williams this week, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Barcelona, however, are determined to sign Williams and Joan Laporta recently admitted that the Blaugrana are capable of signing the 22-year-old.
Romano has now revealed that Barcelona will step up their pursuit of Williams this week, while they are prepared to spend their entire summer budget on the Spaniard.
Declan Rice slammed
Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice has been criticised by Rafael van der Vaart following his performance in the Euro 2024 final.
Speaking on NOS, Van der Vaart thundered: “What is he doing? He picks up a ball and then plays it back to John Stones. He is useless. If you are really worth a hundred million, you should also be able to play that ball forward.”
Albert Sambi Lokonga joins Sevilla
Arsenal midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga has joined Sevilla on a season-long loan deal, with an option to buy next summer.
Upon confirmation of his move to Sevilla, the 24-year-old admitted: “Everyone knows that Sevilla has a great history. I hope to be able to win a lot at this club. For me the most convincing thing is the opportunity to win again and be part of the team writing its history.”
Lokonga spent last season on loan at Luton Town, and he racked up x appearances in all competitions for the Hatters.
Nuno Tavares joins Lazio
Nuno Tavares has also left Arsenal on loan. He has completed a move to Serie A side Lazio on a one-year loan deal.
