Spurs are looking to overhaul their squad in their second summer under Ange Postecoglou and have several ambitious targets. Leeds United wonderkid Archie Gray has already been signed, but he may not be the only precocious talent who will ply his trade in north London next season.

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Tottenham hold a genuine interest in Desire Doue, but they have thus far refrained from taking any concrete steps towards recruiting him. Additionally, CaughtOffside claims that they are also keen on Georgiy Sudakov.

Both players, however, are also on the radar of hated rivals Arsenal and many other clubs. With both expected to depart their respective sides, Stade Rennais and Shakhtar Donetsk, this summer, they could soon become the subjects of an intense transfer tug-of-war.

Doue and Sudakov in demand

Speculation surrounding the future of Doue has really ramped up in recent weeks. Despite coming off a mixed season, the 19-year-old is still considered the biggest prospect Rennes have produced since Ousmane Dembele.

Bayern Munich have already had an opening approach rejected by the Ligue 1 side, while PSG are expected to launch an offensive in the coming days, according to Romano. The left-winger is also admired by Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham.

Sudakov, meanwhile, has been the subject of intense transfer rumours for months, being linked to seemingly every elite club in Europe after standout performances for Shakhtar and Ukraine.

The 21-year-old attacking midfielder has made no secret of his desire to move to a top-five league this summer and Arsenal as well as Chelsea have been heavily linked with him. Now, Spurs appear to have joined the chase, too.
