The winger has established himself as one of the most intriguing commodities in the Turkish Super Lig. Fast and strong, Yilmaz contributed with seven goals and 12 assists across all competitions to Galatasaray's play as they won the domestic league title in spectacular fashion.

The 24-year-old also impressed for Turkey at Euro 2024 and his performances over the past 12 months have put him on the map for big European sides. Brighton have been heavily linked with the right-winger, while Man Utd have also been mentioned among his suitors.

According to the president of Yilmaz's former club, who have a 20 per cent sell-on clause, Arsenal, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund also hold a genuine interest, and he has revealed how much he expects the Turkey star to move for this summer.

Yilmaz worth €30m

Speaking to Aksam, Ankara boss Sedat Tahiroglu said of Yilmaz: "We are owed 20 per cent of Baris Alper Yilmaz's fee but Galatasaray have not requested a meeting with us on this issue."

"I hear Liverpool and Arsenal want him and I know [Borussia Dortmund coach] Nuri Sahin definitely wants him. I don't think the price will be €50m. He can be sold for around €30m."

"The path needs to be paved for young people in Turkish football. Hopefully, he will make the decision that is good for him. The money is not important. The important thing is for Baris Alper to go to a team where he will be successful because he will be the face of Turkey."

Yilmaz currently has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €20.6 million, so a fee in the ballpark of €30m is definitely more realistic than €50m.
