Chelsea hold firm 'transfer talks' with Player of the Season
Chelsea are showing no signs of slowing down when it comes to recruitment under Todd Boehly.
The club has already made five summer signings in the window so far from bringing in Tosin Adarabioyo, Omari Kellyman, Marc Guiu, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Renato Veiga.
Boehly is keen to bolster Enzo Maresca's squad even further as he looks to get the Blues back on track and once again fighting for a place among the top four in the Premier League.

It will be a gargantuan task with Maresca responsible for a huge squad of players. Chelsea will have to operate carefully in the transfer market and offload a lot of the club's current stars before the window shuts close with currently 41 first team players registered to the Blues.
However, it seems they are also continuing to pursue other options, including a player who was voted as the Player of the Season in the Championship during the 2023/24 campaign.
That player in question is Crysencio Summerville, who has held firm transfer talks with Chelsea according to TEAMtalk.
Chelsea to sign Crysencio Summerville?
Summerville netted 21 goals and registered 10 assists for Leeds United last season in a stellar campaign. He has caught the eye with his effortless displays and his ability to beat his opponents with ease in one vs one situations.
The report from TEAMtalk claims Summerville would prefer a move to Stamford Bridge this summer and that Chelsea are interested in the player.

Chelsea will have to abide by the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) which will make efforts to sign Summerville complicated considering Boehly has already brought in several players this summer.
However, it seems like both parties are open to making the move happen, which is why this is one to watch for the rest of the summer.
